About

The person behind SCORA

SCORA is carried by a person, not by an abstract structure. Over thirty years' experience in industry and commerce, more than twenty of them in leadership roles, on both sides of the value chain and of the deal cycle.

Portrait of Jérôme Abrahmi

Jérôme Abrahmi is a business leader and entrepreneur with over thirty years of international experience in chemicals, materials, the circular economy and distribution. This track record is what makes the SCORA proposition credible: he has led, decided and executed, in the very situations where SCORA intervenes. What follows is not a CV, but what this track record makes it possible to address.

Responsibilities held

  • Global commercial leadership of businesses with revenue up to around US$1bn
  • Full profit-and-loss responsibility for multi-site business units up to €35m EBITDA
  • Leadership of organisations of up to 320 people
  • €500m distribution P&L across twelve European entities
  • Led the due diligence and negotiation team for the acquisition of Solvay's polyamide 66 business, which took DOMO's revenue from around €0.9bn to €1.6bn
  • Roles as CEO, Vice-President, Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Advisor

One industrial transformation took the EBITDA margin from 7.5% to over 20% in three years, with revenue growth and a reduction in working capital.

Former employers named: Dow Chemical, Cabot, Solutia (now Ascend Performance Materials), Berry Plastics, Clariant, Nexeo Solutions. Consulting and interim management: DOMO Chemicals, Michelin, Aceto, Bosc & Izarn, Palmarole, Unnox Group, Soleil Metals (OCIM Group).
